Ryan Chan – alias 747 – pushed himself to the forefront of a new crop of Acid Techno producers with his distinct blend of introspective cuts that teeter between the warehouse-primed and at-home-listening spaces. His latest single arrives nearly a year following the release of the star-studded Aurora Centralis remix EP, which included reworks from Schacke, nthng, Primal Code, and Tin Man. “While My 303 Gently Weeps” – a charming nod to The Beatles’ ‘68 White Album listing – showcases 747 at his most powerful. Landing us entirely on another planet, it leads with a combination of unforgiving kicks, repetitive galactic melodies, and an enveloping snare before climaxing in a serene space that echoes his signature acid touch.

NATHASSIA & D3FAI – IN MY HEAD (REMIXES) [ARCHANGEL UK]
Multicultural ambassador, DJ, producer, and vocalist NATHASSIA (pronounced Natasha) has released her second collaboration alongside Argentinian big-room producer D3FAI. Expanding upon the foundation built on in their prior collaboration “Change The World“, the synergy the two stumbled upon paved way for another striking intersection between NATHASSIA’s vocal talent and D3FAI’s no-nonsense approach to the classic big-room sound. Airy, light and electrifying, NATHASSIA’s vocal work in “In My Head” weaves soothing sunshine through the fabric of an otherwise heavy big-room dance track, creating a contrast that compliments the other harmoniously.“In My Head” has given D3FAI his first opportunity to showcase his techno production skills which he has been honing over the past 12 months by way of a Techno Mix compliment to the big-room main cut. The rework adapts the original intuitively, substituting bass-heavy drops for a steady, percussive rhythm that furthers a brooding contrast to NATHASSIA’s uplifting vocal.

An effortless collision of two sonic styles, “Anything” exudes powerful feminine energy courtesy of Alison Wonderland’s captivating vocal performance and riveting house music flair by Khan himself. The music video chronicles a house party in the woods, starring Alison Wonderland and Valentino Khan themselves. Cutting between scenes depicting a lively party and Wonderland working as a mysterious mixologist, the party soon bursts into dynamic color as the guests sip Wonderland’s magic elixir. A sharp descent into hell-sent madness ensues, as the video turns towards the occult. Both Wonderland and Khan watch into the madness of the partygoers, before finally indulging themselves. EDONE – CRAMP EP [BEDROCK RECORDS]
One of Techno’s most creative contemporary stars, EdOne, makes his debut contribution to John Digweed’s illustrious Bedrock Records, with a mesmerizing 3-track offering. Opening with Cramp, EdOne sets the listener on a journey through emotive suspense, creating a cinematic masterpiece that dips and peaks in intensity throughout its 7-minute run time. Layering intelligent sound design elements against cosmic soundscapes, EdOne’s artistry is put on full display and sets the theme for this 3-part opus. Carrying his industrial tones over to the EP’s second offering, Freedom, the burgeoning producer flaunts his percussive expertise with tribal-induced rhythms and oscillating tempos. Ruled By Inept closes out the release with a gritty attitude, fueled by dissonance and alarm-stricken synths, conducive to dark, smokey dancefloors. Aside from his inaugural release on the esteemed imprint, EdOne will feature on the much-anticipated forthcoming QUATTRO II compilation in February, curated by label head John Digweed as a follow up to his highly coveted QUATTRO album project.

A genre-defying talent transcending the typical confines of electronic music, BRUER pushes boundaries. Excelling in bass driven, high-energy, melodic feats, BRUER proves himself as quite the jack-of-all-trades. Following the highly successful release of lead single “Nasty,” BRUER excitedly unveils his debut EP. Kicking off the Mind Flay EP is “Take You Higher,” a trap-heavy treat laced with BRUER’s signature sound design. Catchy vocal chops ride throughout in-your-face production from BRUER, as the producer gives a glimpse of what is yet to come from his face-melting debut.
