On April 20th I attended the premiere of The Offer at Paramount Studios. The 10-episode event series is created and written by Oscar and Emmy-nominated writer Michael Tolki. It is also written and executive produced by Nikki Toscano, who also serves as showrunner. I was able to speak with members of the cast. Including, Anthony Skordi (“Carlo Gambino”), Anthony Ippolito (“Al Pacino”), Stephanie Koenig (“Andrea Eastman”), and Meredith Garretson (“Ali MacGraw”). All who expressed their excitement to see the series on screen. It had been a long filming process. Being able to bring life to the characters and provide a fresh perspective to a true story was an honor that the cast members spoke on. The talent on set provided a fun and creative environment to experiment and really dig into the heart of the story. Attendees of the red carpet event were able to watch the first two episodes of the show that captured the very early career days of Albert S. Ruddy. Viewers enjoyed complementary popcorn and water as they watched the show.
After the screening guests were invited to an after party equipped with an open bar, hor d’oeuvres, a dj, and photo ops throughout the venue. Signature cocktails included a classic old fashion, dirty martini, and a gin gimlet. The evening transformed you back in time to old Hollywood, capturing the essence of the era.
The Offer premieres Thursday, April 28 on Paramount+ in the U.S. The first three episodes of the 10-episode-long series will be available to stream at launch. Following the premiere, new episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays.
