Slum Village came from Detroit underground to the top of the charts between 1996 through to 1999.
Today, the trio commemorate their successful run on the 20th anniversary of the debut with a brand new project filled with unreleased material entitled, ‘The Lost Scrolls’.
The new project feature 11 unreleased demos, with undiscovered production and remixes for legendary Detroit producer J. Dilla. As well as featured guest appearances from some of the conscious Hip-Hop favorites Busta Rhymes, Q-Tip, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and many many more.
Opening a vault of unheard relics, Slum Village delivers a bit of history to the new generation with the new release and in support of the new album, will be hitting the road for a special 20th-anniversary tour later this year.
