Hosted at Atlanta’s amazing Gold Room, many heavy hitters in the music industry gathered to watch and listen as the winner of Season 6 Remy Producers was crowned. A highly anticipated event, many aspiring music producers from around the country join the highly competitive ranks for a chance to be sign with Hip Hop Legend, Jermaine Dupri of the illustrious So So Def Records.
The finalist which included Scylla of Chicago, Tane Runo of Miami, Ovalord of New York City, and Clyde Strokes of Los Angeles, gathered in the Gold Room in an event hosted by DJ Envy to showcase their talents with new beats that were sure to bring the house down. After a highly creative season, Ovalord of New York City won season 6 which earned a 5 song contract with So So Def Records with one of the records being personally picked by Jermaine Dupree with a special artist feature.
The finale also doubled as a birthday party for Jermaine Dupree. The night featured amazing sounds, good entertainment and special drinks and menu items. Celebrities such as DJ Envy, Super Producer TRAKGIRL and Zaytoven and international music industry talent such as Phyno and Clarence Peters of Nigeria, Riky Rick and Master A Flat from South Africa, and Chromatics and Tommy Bling of Nigeria. It was surely a night and event to remember!
