Rae Sremmurd Announce Sophomore Album

Rae Sremmurd’s highly anticipated “SremmLife 2” will be released in August.

The Mississippi-based duo Rae Sremmurd announced they will release their sophomore album on August 12, 2016. SremmLife 2 is a follow-up to the platinum-selling SremmLife which featured hits like “No Flex Zone” and “This Could Be Us.”

Brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi debuted their first album topping Billboard’s Hip-Hop/R&B charts. SremmLife scored the duo five platinum-selling singles, including the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced No Flex Zone,” and No Type,” which is co-produced by Swae Lee. Mike WiLL Made-It is also a producer on the upcoming SremmLife 2.

Rae Sremmurd were nominated for the Top Rap Artist by the Billboard Music Awards and Best Group, Best New Artists and Coca-Cola Viewers Choice Award at BET Awards in 2014.
