Last week, The Knockturnal sat down with producer and actor Scott Chambers to talk about their upcoming film Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2.
When the first Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey came out, it took the internet by storm and pretty much became an instant meme. A classic children’s tale being turned into a horror movie excited all horror enthusiasts to see what they hype was all about.
If you didn’t get the chance to see the first film, it’s okay, because these guys have a plan. It was decided, due to their larger budget, the second film would be both a remake of Blood And Honey for the first bit, but also adding a new plot and characters (basically what Evil Dead 2 did).
Scott Chambers, Producer of Jagged Edge Productions, added that there’s going to be a childhood Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU). You might heard some rumors about this, but Scott was sure to explain what fans should expect.
In summation, they want to combine some of the most recognizable characters in literature and eventually have an an all out splatter-fest. He explained: “Similar to The Avengers we will follow Pooh, Tigger, Rabbit, Owl, Piglet, Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, The Mad Hatter, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell joining forces to wreak havoc. He also stated that these were all leading up to the main event: Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.
No matter what you think of these films, this has got to be one of the most ambitious Ensemble movie since the 4 hour Justice League: Snyder Cut. There’s allegedly going to be an end credits sequence that will feature an exclusive look at the Poohniverse: Monster’s assemble — and if that’s not the most Marvel thing I’ve ever heard.
Rhys Frake-Waterfield is set to direct. Casting is to include Scott Chambers returning as Christopher Robin, Megan Plactio as Wendy Darling, Roxanne Mckee as Xana, Lewis Santer as Tigger. More casting announcements to come. Stuart Alson and Nicole Holland serve as Executive Producers.
