On The Scene: POPSHOP NYC at Public Hotel

As you descend into the stairway underground following the melodies of a swoon-y voice over electric pop tunes, you were then face to face with POPSHOP.

On Wednesday, Neon Gold Records brought together three of their pop artists in a room at the night club at Public Hotel in SoHo.

Charlotte Cardin, a Canadian artist who is known for her jazzy taste over electro chords took the stage as all eyes were on her.

The twenty-two year old’s career took off first as a model at the age of 15 before becoming an artist making some great hits like “Dirty Dirty.” She debuted new songs off of her Mean Girl EP that will be released Sept. 8.

Following her show, Matt Maeson took the stage solo with his very unplugged performance. It was just a man and his guitar. He debuted his very own EP Who Killed Matt Maeson. And played his single “Cringe” making the crowd cheer him on as his voice ripped apart the whole room.

The man of the hour, headlining the night was Bryce Fox, an LA based artist who plays the best alternative sounds. Fox was the perfect artist to end the night with an electric energy.
