If you love pizzas and bagels, then you were in for a treat with this collab!
Last week, Pizza Hut partnered with a Los Angeles favorite, Yeastie Boys, to bring the limited-edition Big New Yorker Pizza Bagel to life. They invited The Knockturnal out to try it, and that crunch & those flavors are still lingering on our minds. Each pizza bagel is crafted with layers of sweet marinara sauce, fresh Parmesan and mozzarella cheese, oregano, and topped with double pepperoni on a signature Yeastie Boys bagel.
We got the chance to chat with one of Pizza Hut’s brand ambassadors, Lacrown, and she described this delicious pizza bagel to us. She shares with The Knockturnal that the bagel has “perfect crispness to it, then you have this perfect cheese, and the two types of pepperoni… now that’s what gets me!”
Before Culinary Director Josie let us try this mouth-watering bagel, she told The Knockturnal more about this creation. “We’ve got an iconic collab going with Yeastie Boys and Pizza Hut” and goes on to describe it with “freshly baked bagels, sweet tomato sauce, mozzarella, aged Parm, and two types of pepperoni.”
Now let’s talk about our first reaction to the pizza bagel. First off, the crunch factor was a 10/10. I’ve never tried a Yeastie Boys bagel before but it’s officially on my LA itinerary.
