The luxury of the Timex ‘New England’ caught me off guard. It’s a stately, vintage-looking thing with thick, tapered hands, a second hand in orange, with cream colored second indicators and thick, blocky numerals. The dial is set deep in chrome case, a cut crown pokes out modestly on the side. The black leather band has a stunning contrast stitch in cream.
