On July 15, Peacock is unleashing a new platform that showcases diverse array of content for everyone!
And with its newly announced licensing deal with ViacomCBS, Peacock will include even more diverse content on its platform including THE GAME, EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS and REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD. This free platform will showcase library hit shows including 30 ROCK, PARKS AND RECREATION, FRASIER, and much more. In addition, the platform will premiere original programming including BRAVE NEW WORLD, WILLIE, and PSYCH 2, which will debut exclusively on Peacock.
Brave New World
Brave New World is loosley based on the novel of the same name that was written by Aldous Huxley. The series takes place in a society that has stability, peace, and appears good to the outside world. As Bernad Marx (Harry Lloyd) and Lenina Crowne (Jessica Brown Findlay) are on a nice vacation, they are both in a crossfire in a conflict of rebellion that is going on at the same time. They are both saved by John The Savage (Alden Ehreneich) as he takes them back to New London, but his unexpected arrival in New London left a future uncertain with Lenina and Bernad as they have to adapt to this New World.
The Capture
The Capture tackles the current world of fake news and the atvantage of the way intelligence services uses information. Shaun Emery (Callum Turner) was a soldier that was tried for a murder in Afghanistan, but the entire conviction is overturned because of video evidence that was flawed. He is freed and returns home with his daughter, but more footage of Shaun was unearthed and now he has to clear his name once again. Rachel Carey (Holliday Graigner) is the detective for his case for her to investigate. However, Rachel soon learns that whatever truth that she knows, could be viewed in another perspective.
PSYCH 2: Lassie Come Home
Psych 2: Lassie Come Home is the first original film that will debut on Peacock. It was originally supposed to premiere on USA Network, but we now know that it will be on Peacock on July 15, 2020. Shawn (James Roday) and Gus (Dulé Hill) are tasked to retun to Santa Barbara to investigate as Carlton Lassiter (Timothy Omundson) was assaulted and leaft for near death. During their return, Gus and Shawn have to get adjusted at their former home to figure this case out without the help of police, their friends, or loved ones as this time, they have to encounter the supernatural. Gus and Shawn will eventually learn something that will change their friendship forever.
