From Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies comes a brand new animated film, Paws of Fury: Legend of Hank. In a world of cats, the good villagers are threatened by a powerful evil cat. An unlikely hero and dog, Hank, must learn to fight against these evil cats and protect the villagers. The humor and action of this movie will be fun for the whole family. This movie stars Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, Samuel L. Jackson, Mel Brooks, George Takei, Gabriel Iglesias, Djimon Hounsou, Michelle Yeoh, and many more!
The Knockturnal spoke with some of the cast of this film Michael Cera, Kylie Kuioka, Cathy Shim and George Takei. The cast told us about the process of creating these characters. Originally announced as ‘Blazing Samurai‘ this film has been a work in progress for over seven years and confronted many challenges during production. Even during the pandemic, they continued creating remotely. Most of the actors recorded their parts from their homes and in their closets remotely. We also spoke with director and producer Rob Minkoff and he told us about the process of creating this film. The team overcame many obstacles and created this inspiring and hilarious movie.
