There is nothing better than spending a warm NYC summer day waterside and drinking amazing PATRÓN cocktails
The peak of summer is upon us and there is no better way to celebrate the warm weather than to take a stroll to the infamous NYC piers. And recently our friends at PATRÓN Tequila treated us to an intimate cocktail hour at Malibu Farm.
If you don’t know about Malibu Farm, it is a restaurant located in Pier 17 and has indoor and outdoor seating that overlooks the water. With beautiful modern décor with a bit of rustic flair, this space was the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy some Patron cocktails.
The menu included a PATRÓN Paloma which had a lovely fruity forward taste while sporting and clean agave flavor from the PATRÓN. There was also a take on a Moscow Mule called the Mexican Mule which featured PATRÓN tequila, lime, citrus syrup, and ginger beer.
But, our favorite cocktail of the night was a PATRÓN margarita that came in a cute mini PATRÓN bottle. The drink was bright and refreshing and crisp making it the perfect drink to sit waterside too. For us, the PATRÓN tequila is the perfect cocktail base and can elevate any margarita due to the taste of agave is present but does not dominate the other ingredients.
The night also featured some of Malibu Farm’s signature appetizers and bites including the cauliflower crust ‘pizza,’ a roasted red beet hummus, the local burrata, and the Malibu nachos. All of the dishes were delicious and great shared plates that can fill you up easily fill you up. To finish the night, we had a variety of Malibu Farm desserts which included the decadent matcha cheesecake and the creamy and colorful Pride Ice Cream Sundae.
