The Rafayel Group’s Juthika Bedi, who also owns Paisley, has brilliantly orchestrated a team that deserves warm applause and gratitude for what they have achieved.
Walking in the doors you escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The concrete jungle melts away and you feel at one with an exotic land of wonder. Then you sit to eat and you float away to another realm.
Dishes are truly incredible masterpieces along with superb presentation. From exquisite naan breads to a divine cocktail menu you will be pleased and full of bliss. Small plates are perfect for sharing with your party such as Garlicky Cauliflower with crisped cauliflower tossed in garlic, cumin, black pepper and tangy sauce; or Seared Scallops with cilantro cafreal sauce and mango salsa.
For entrees the tastes that are curated before you are magical. Every bite will formulate faith in you that this is the best decision of the week you will have to enter the restaurant’s doors. Classic curries such as Saag Paneer with mustard greens, broccoli rabe, spinach sauce, Indian Cheese and spice; vegan Salan with baby eggplant, coconut milk, and poppy seeds; and Shrimp Moilee with ginger coconut sauce, green chilly, curry leaves and mustard greens are all the stuff legends are made from.
And be sure to save room for desserts that are supreme from start to finish. In particular, there is an incredible Chai Chocolate Mousse whipped with a delicate layering of Parle-G cookie crumbs, strawberry, blackberry, orange whipped cream, and roasted chai spice. Also, their Gulab Jamun served warm with pistachio and almond garnish is perhaps the best ever tasted of the dainty dish.
Additionally, the bar features cocktails such as the Tribeca Trifecta with shiso infused pisco, Aperol, and carpano dry vermouth; and Takes Two To Mango, aquavit, Pamplemousse, mango, and tiki bitters.
Paisley is open for dinner and brunch for outdoor and indoor dining. They have been serving the neighborhood with incredible pride during the pandemic.
