If you are visiting New York City this holiday season, one of the best places to stay is at the distinguished Park Terrace Hotel. Every aspect of this Manhattan hotel is luxurious and plush. With lavish accommodations, premium amenities and a prime location where you’ll have all the top attractions on your doorstep, your trip to the Big Apple will be more magical, restful and memorable by lodging at this wonderful hotel.

Nested directly across from Bryant Park and the iconic New York Public Library’s main branch, the Park Terrace Hotel in Midtown Manhattan has the best location with walking distance to all the major tourist spots like Times Square, Grand Central Terminal and the best shopping on 5th Avenue. Located at 18 West 40th Street, the hotel is literally next to Bryant Park, which currently has been transformed into a winter village where people can enjoy an ice skating rink, a holiday market, a food and beer hall and cozy igloos for lounging. There’s also numerous bakeries on the same block of the hotel, the Italian restaurant La Pecora Bianca is adjacent to the hotel’s lobby and a Whole Foods down the street. Park Terrace Hotel seriously has the best location with easy access to great food and shops.

The vibe of the Park Terrace Hotel is intimate and the boutique hotel boasts 226 rooms that has been designed by famed architecture firm Stonehill Taylor. The hotel’s look features a clean, fresh and natural aesthetic with many of the rooms having incredible views of Bryant Park, the New York Public Library and the skyscrapers of Midtown. The Knockturnal stayed in a classic room with a king bed that was flooded with natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows. The contemporary room was cozy yet still spacious with plenty of room to spread out. Most importantly, it was peaceful and quiet for a good night’s rest. The soundproofed room came equipped with a smart television with Netflix, lots of outlets for charging your phones and computer, Bose Bluetooth sound system, a Nespresso machine, a marble desk, a soft sofa, a substantial wardrobe, blazing fast wifi and even a yoga mat. The bathroom was well-lit, had a sizable shower stall that was spotless of any hairs or dirt and was supplied with sublime Malin + Goetz amenities.

The hotel also has a sauna and a fitness center with Peloton bikes. Guests will find a 24-hour front desk, a shared lounge and a business center. The Park Terrace Hotel also is inviting guests to experience Branch, a newly reimagined indoor and outdoor lounge and workspace located on the sixth floor of the hotel that’s been curated to be a serene escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. Open daily from 7am to 11pm, Branch offers crafted espresso and matcha as well as pastries and granola from the popular Balthazar Bakery in the mornings. At night, a seasonal cocktail program inspired by the local ingredients and the beauty of Bryant Park are available. Hotel guests and their friends can enjoy these offerings from the comfort of Branch’s large open-plan spaces as well as the terrace with its magnificent views.

The Park Terrace Hotel truly shines with their top-notch guest rooms. It’s clean, quiet, functional and spacious—making it a soothing sanctuary for rest. Finding a quiet hotel in the heart of New York City is rare, while the Park Terrace Hotel delivers on every level. Undoubtedly, it is one of the best and coziest boutique hotels in the city that feels like home away from home. Book a reservation now!
