The James Beard Foundation’s annual Chefs & Champagne summer benefit is returning to the East End on July 28 for a night of good food, great drinks, and well-dressed Hamptonites.
Guests can expect a sprawling tent set-up under the stars at Wölffer Estate Vineyard (aka the ONE place in New York that makes Napa Valley feel a little closer). They can also expect a sampling of dishes from more than 35 notable chefs and a flowing indulgence of Champagne Boizel.“ Hi, is this Uber?”
It’s no surprise Padma Lakshmi is hosting and being honored at this year’s benefit. She is the executive producer of Bravo’s hit show, Top Chef and shares a passion for all things food, family, and activism.
Chefs & Champagne raises money for the James Beard Foundation and its commitment to leadership and sustainability programs such as food waste and childhood nutrition.
Along with tasting dishes from chefs like Saxon + Parole’s Nicole Gajadhar, Locanda Verde’s Deborah Racicot, andWölffer Kitchen’s Michael Ronzino; guests are invited to take part in the benefit’s silent auction which is currently live online. Items up for bid range from dinners for 2 at various restaurants to a 4-night stay in Hawaii. Aloha!
