“The Legend of Hallowaiian,” a funny, mythical and family friendly animation is expected to hit theatres on October 18th, 2018.
The animation takes the audience through the ancient legends the Island is built on by highlighting the importance of family values and the power of strong friendships.
King’s Hawaiian is a proud sponsor and the presence of the delicious Hawaiian rolls as halloween candy had the audience laughing. This product placement acted as a great marketing tool and let’s be honest, who doesn’t love those sweet rolls?
The adventures of the three children follow a pineapple-headed monster that causes havoc through the town on his giant skateboard. The legends of the Island is the only way of restoring peace to their home. The movie’s animations were completed within ten months in production but the high quality was extremely convincing.
The children get help from (adorable) mystical creatures that help Kai embrace his heritage and believe the stories of his ancestors in order to get closer to vanquishing the evil that loomed Halloween night.
At the magnificent Hearst tower, we were welcomed with finger foods decorated with faces of the magical friends courtesy of the Food Network. There was also a vast selection of wines and beer, so it’s needless to say the premiere started off on a great note that was maintained throughout.
This movie will be available on DirectTV, if you do not like animations or pineapple-headed monsters, watch it for the sweet rolls.
