Last Friday we attended an intimate performance by TDE’s newest R&B artist, Zacari.
Last week Soho house welcomed special guest Zacari, TDEs newest signee. The house was filled with music elites and industry tastemakers excited to see Zacari perform live. Zacari paved his way with rare features on Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN, Ab-Soul’s “RAW(Backwards)” and Isaiah Rashad’s last project The Sun’s Tirade. With cosigns and collaborations from half the TDE roster, Zacari has been putting in work for years.
With the release of his debut project last month, Run Wild Run Free, Zacari has since received high praise and acclaim from major publications like HypeBeast, Lyrical Lemonade and Billboard. The 7-track project has been described by Billboard as a “scintillating fusion of psychedelic R&B, alternative and trap,” that too with a coveted Lil Yachty feature on “Young & Invincible.”
With a simple, yet elegant setup that highlighted the authenticity of Zacari’s voice, his Soho house performance was a huge success. Performing standout tracks from Run Wild Run Free, like “Midas Touch,” Zacari flexed his vocal versatility and gained lifelong fans. In addition to performing his newer work, he also performed his featured verse from Kendrick Lamar’s “LOVE,” which had fans both nostalgic and excited to hear what else Zacari has in store.
