Soon to be released film, Shazam!, inspires all to believe in the hero within, and on March 24 the film honored those who went above and beyond.
On Sunday, in anticipation of the new film Shazam! being released on April 5, New Line Cinema and Warner Brothers presented “Incredible Kid Day” to celebrate twelve lucky high school seniors who had demonstrated great efforts in their communities and truly worked to make a difference. These students were given an all expense paid round trip to Los Angeles for a special early screening of the film followed by a VIP luncheon with members of the cast including Grace Fulton, Marta Milans, Jovan Armand, Ian Chen, and Faithe Herman.
Shazam! stars Zachary Levi as the main DC character and Asher Angel as his younger self, Billy Batson. By yelling one word, “Shazam!” Billy transforms from streetwise 14-year-old foster child to adult superhero. While still a child at heart, he will need to grasp his newly found superpowers to fight the deadly forces of evil commanded by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana – played by Mark Strong.
Shazam! is set for release on April 5, 2019.
