On The Scene: ‘Rough Night’ World Premiere [Video]

On Monday, June 12, The Knockturnal was on the red carpet for the World Premiere of Columbia Pictures’ latest release “Rough Night” out today.

Before the black carpet event began reporters and attendees were able to mingle at a pre-reception in the lobby of AMC Lincoln Square hosted by Svedka Vodka.  Cocktails such as ‘Blushing Bride’ and ‘Something Blue’ were served to get the party started. The hilarious movie follows five best friends from college (played by Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Ilana Glazer, and Zoë Kravitz) who reunite 10 years later for a wild bachelorette weekend in Miami. Their hard partying takes a hilariously dark turn when they accidentally kill a male stripper.

From the Film: Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Zoe Kravitz, Ilana Glazer, Demi Moore, Ty Burrell, Colton Haynes, Ryan Cooper, Hashan Minhaj, Dean Winters, Patrick Carlyle, Enrique Murciano, Eric Andre, Director/Writer/Producer Lucia Aniello, Writer/Producer/Actor Paul W. Downs, Producer Matt Tolmach and Producer Dave Becky, all walked the red carpet.

“I love going to see comedies in theaters, just because I love the communal experience and hearing everyone scream back at the screen or all the different types of laughter,” Johansson told reporters on the red carpet. Check out our exclusive video below:

Other notable guests who joined the bachelorette-themed premiere were Abbi Jacobson, Tara Subkoff, Yael Stone, Dominic Lewis, Kelly Karbacz, Karl Gusman, Sonja Morgan, Martha Hunt, Molly Ringwald, Questlove, Roble Ali, Tiffany Haddish, Nick Kroll and Diana Madison. An epic party followed at Diamond Horseshoe. The premiere was also presented by Buzzfeed and Hask.
