Tidal’s director of Culture & Content, Elliot Wilson hosted the intimate affair at New York’s beloved Gramercy theatre where the Q&A was live-streamed exclusively on Tidal.

Some of the best moments from Elliott & Rick Ross’s Q&A included Ross describing his musical journey since his debut album, Port of Miami and how far he’s come with the release of of his 10th studio album, Port of Miami 2.

Ross explained what drew him to A Boogie’s sound was his versatility of flows and that he wanted to create a project that bridges the gap between Denzel Curry and A Boogie.

He also discussed how his record ‘Vegas Residency’ was inspired by the first time he saw Kanye in a MAGA hat. He mentions how hard it hit him and how the record serves to “pull on his coattails, but in no way is a diss.”

Ross gave us an insight into his health and reveals that the cause of his health scare and seizures were ultimately his inability to sleep. His hunger and drive to succeed pushed him to a dangerous point, but he was so eager to finally see positive results that he just couldn’t slow down.
