Has there ever been a better way to celebrate healthy hair than with delicious ice cream? We surely don’t think so.
NYC is the hub for free, fun events, and one that involves ice cream and free products truly has it all. Last week, Moroccanoil invited guests to join them in welcoming the newest addition to the Moroccanoil Treatment portfolio—Moroccanoil Treatment Purple. The treatment cools down brassiness on blonde hair, while providing all the benefits of the original formula that users know and love. The iconic haircare brand teamed up with the equally-as-iconic New York City ice cream shop Morgenstern’s to create a custom flavor—Purple Blondie.
Upon arrival to the ice cream shop, guests were treated to a completely transformed Morgensterns, with accents of purple and Moroccanoil glam everywhere. The first order of business was to sample the latest flavor, Purple Blondie. The flavor featured Purple açai ice cream, acai jelly and blondie batter swirl. Guests could also treat themselves to two other flavors, including Fine Honey, caramelized honey vanilla ice cream, and Chocolate Brunette, midnight chocolate ice cream swirled with rich chocolate brownie batter. The flavors were not only gorgeous to look at and topped with purple sprinkles, but they were also as delicious as you’d expect.
The event was as interactive as it was delicious. Guests were also treated to complimentary hair consultations, which let them know which of Moroccanoil’s three treatment oils would best suit their own hair. Once that was figured out, they were given a chic blue tie-dye tote, which contained a pint of Purple Blondie, the selected treatment, as well as goodies like Moroccanoil’s iconic hairbrush and scrunchie. The free event gifted guests with over $80 worth of products in the exclusive gift bag!
But don’t fret if you couldn’t make it, Purple Blondie will be on the menu at Morgenstern’s through June 14, and the first 50 customers on each Saturday and Sunday will enjoy a free scoop along with a 25 ml bottle of Moroccanoil Treatment Purple! It’s the perfect combo for a cool start to summer, in more ways than one.
