Based on a true story, White House Plumbers follows the events leading up to the Watergate scandal, which ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon in 1974. The show focuses on the unlikely duo of G. Gordon Liddy, played by the Justin Theroux and E. Howard Hunt, portrayed by the enigmatic Woody Harleson, who were hired by the Nixon administration to plug leaks and silence political opponents. Harrelson and Theroux also prove to be a powerful duo in real life as well, as they were both executive producers of the show as well.
