Since its launch in 2002, Alice and Olivia by Stacey Bendet has been providing whimsical style expression to women everywhere. The iconic brand has always been known for its creativity, and their presentations and shows are no exception. From their 20th Anniversary “Prom Night’ back in June, to their iconic NYFW shows, there is no shortage of excitement while thinking about what Alice and Olivia will come up with next. For her Spring/Summer 2023 collection, Stacey envisioned a sense of home. She explained that the question she posed was “Why must glamour only exist outside?”

A truly brilliant question, with an even better answer; it simply doesn’t. Especially not through Stacey’s eyes. “So often do my interiors inspire my design, and my designs inspire my interiors,” she says. The inspiration of the idea of home has come from her decorating her own new home just last year. The collection explores all of the different possibilities that a home can unlock when it comes to self expression. The collection is “eccentric and maximalist,” a nod to British eclectic.

The immersive walk through experience took place at the height of New York Fashion week on Saturday, and guests were invited to walk through multiple different rooms that each feature a vibrant colorful style. Models posed in different outfits from the collection, each one different from the next and representing a different theme. Stacey describes it as “Modern femininity.” The designs are not limited to one style or aesthetic, which is described as “a love note to women who are not defined by one aesthetic, demographic, age…. It is a treasure trove of designs for women who want options, who find happiness in the mundane, and who cultivate the world through both clothing and interior design.” Stacey says “You should always dress to match the room you’re going to match the room you’re going to be in. Your outfit is the iconic moment that it’s meant to be in a room that is it in.”

Each room held its own captivating essence. One fairytale style mythical garden room featured little girls with parasols and twirly pink dresses, lounging on beautifully elegant patterned couches. Another featured denim looks with models perched on furniture that looked as though it was entirely made of the material white another room was entirely black and white with loud, eccentric shapes. The contrast of each room provided such an exciting walkthrough experience.

To celebrate the launch taking place at Manhattan’s Highline Stages, located right on the iconic high line, Stacey Bendet was joined by Katie Holmes, Nicky Hilton, Tayshia Adams, Eva Amurri (Actress), Kelsea Ballerini (Country Singer), Delilah Belle Hamlin (Influencer), Madison Pettis (Actress), Melissa Roxburgh (Actress), Olivia Ponton (Influencer), Tezza Barton (Influencer), James Charles (Influencer), David Dobrik (Influencer), Paloma Garcia-Lee (Actress), Lilia Buckingham (Actress), Nicole Maines (Actress), Mallory Bechtel (Actress), Madeline Blake (Actress), Casey Baer (Recording Artist), Phoebe Gates (Influencer) Jordan Emanuel (Celebrity DJ), and many more.
