On the Scene: Day Two of BottleRock Festival

The vibrant energy of BottleRock Napa Valley intensified on its second day, immersing Napa Valley in a whirlwind of pulsating rhythms and unbridled revelry. The festival grounds buzzed with anticipation as eager music enthusiasts flooded through the gates, ready to embrace another day of sonic enchantment.

Eager to dive headfirst into the festivities, I ventured to the Allianz Stage, where the day’s festivities were about to unfold. The hypnotic beats of Paris Jackson resonated through the crowd, their vibrant fusion of electronic and world music igniting a collective frenzy of movement. The stage became a pulsating nucleus of energy, drawing everyone into a rhythmic trance that seemed to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

Driven by a desire to satiate my taste buds, I meandered towards the Culinary Stage, where a myriad of culinary geniuses showcased their gastronomic wizardry. The aroma of sizzling delicacies filled the air, enticing even the most discerning palates. I found myself captivated by the culinary prowess of renowned Chef José Andrés, whose innovative creations seemed to defy the limits of imagination and elevate the festival’s culinary offerings to celestial heights.

As dusk painted the sky in hues of fiery red and passionate orange, the ethereal presence of Tove Lo graced the stage. Her enchanting voice combined with her hypnotic dance moves, evoked a transcendent connection between artist and audience. Her bewitching performance and upbeat music had the whole crowd jumping and singing along to all her greatest hits.

As Tove Lo finished her energetic set, I began to head over to the JaM Cellars stage. While I made my way through the crowd at the Culinary Stage I was in awe of the Hendrick’s Gin 3-Story Bar, a tall three story bar serving a variety of curiously refreshing craft cocktails. There I had some of the most delicious cocktails perfect for the early summer heat that featured Hendrick’s Gin, infused with the essence of rose and cucumber. This whimsical concoction produces a wonderfully refreshing gin with a delightfully floral aroma. 

The night sky unfolded its glittering tapestry as festival-goers eagerly gathered at the JaM Cellars Stage, where the magnetic Lizzo was poised to take command of the evening. The crowd roared in anticipation, their energy reaching a fever pitch as Lizzo emerged, exuding unapologetic confidence and boundless charisma. Her empowering anthems echoed through the valley, inspiring a collective celebration of self-love and unbridled joy. As the night drew to a close, the festival grounds pulsed with the magnetic energy of Duran Duran. Their rousing melodies resonated through the valley, uniting thousands of voices in a harmonious chorus that reverberated far beyond the confines of the festival.

With one more day of musical magnificence yet to come, I eagerly awaited the dawn of the final day and the amazing performances and food to come.
