The Premiere of ‘Anthem of a Teenage Prophet’ at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood was the place to be on Thursday night.
Stars and their guest filled the movie lobby, before the screening, for a red carpet moment. The buzz and excitement for this film was what everyone was talking about. Both Peyton List and Cameron Monaghan were in attendance as they were thrilled to debut their newest movie release. Alongside them were other co-stars such as Danny Woodburn, Juliette Lewis, and Sebastian Greaves. The author of the book, Joanne Proulx and director of the film Robin Hays were also gracing the red carpet that night.
Before guests made their way to the theatre, they all stopped by the bar for some drinks and of course a serving of popcorn. As the film started Peyton gave a brief introduction and moments later the audience was submerged in the world we all know quite well. Navigating your way through high school and getting through life, while coming of age is already quite challenging, but for one character it is definitely far from simple.
Anthem of a Teenage Prophet follows the story of Luke who foresees his best friend’s death, after the event comes true, he is deemed a freak at school and essentially “The Prophet of Death” throughout his city. As the movie goes on you’ll get real life moments, some laughter, adventure, tears, surprises, heartaches, and find yourself rooting for Luke throughout the entire story. This film will give you a genuine youthful escape and perspective that you don’t see quite often anymore.
