Check out what Adidas Outdoor has in store next season!

This upcoming season will include a variety of surprises from the expansion of urban outerwear to footwear/apparel using Parley from the Ocean’s reclaimed and recycled plastics to other sustainable methods including Zero Dye. While there are many sustainability stories in this collection, other highlights include the debut of new hiking boot styles with trail running DNA and new GORE-TEX, waterproof sock-liner technology.

The upcoming collection of footwear features three main categories: hiking, trail running, and water. Hiking best-sellers like the Swift R are making a return with new styles and silhouettes. Another standout product expected in the spring are the Free Hiker. Boost has only thus far been incorporated in the running category of Adidas, until now. The new Free Hiker is the first time Adidas has incorporated boost into their hiking footwear. The Free Hiker has the tallest stack height of boost. Adidas Trail running footwear overlaps heavily with urban trends this season crossing over to street style and lifestyle.

Adidas’s sustainability stories not only pertain to manufacturing but to waste management as well. Adidas Zero Dye and Dope Dye shoes limit the amount of water and chemicals used during manufacturing. Parley apparel and footwear using Parley for the Oceans’ reclaimed and recycled plastics makes a return this season as well in trail running and water. Make sure to check out Adidas Spring 2019.
