This past Wednesday, June 15th, in Chelsea, NYC, Nick Jonas celebrated his album release of “Last Year Was Complicated” (LYWC) and collaboration with Altec Lansing.
In Fall 2016, Altec Lansing and Nick Jonas are collaborating to create a line of active noise cancelling over-the-ear headphones. The sleek design aesthetic matched with a smooth and clear listening experience is what Altec Lansing is known for, and the Nick Jonas collaboration will follow suit. All products are adaptable and multi-dimensional with noise and wind canceling microphones, a touch control panel and Bluetooth, as well as the True Wireless Earphones and Bluetooth Earphones with behind the head wiring. They have a battery life up to ten hours. The Sports Earphones are waterproof with no moisture absorption, sweat resistant, and stay in your ear for crazy workouts or any other adventure, so no need to worry. The line is designed with a neutral palette of black and white with brushed metal accents to bring bits of color and contrast, including black with black or silver accents and white with champagne or rose gold accents. Sounds like a hot collab to me!
An event celebrating the Altec Lansing collaboration and Nick’s new album LYWC took place at Up & Down club in NYC last Wednesday. There was a sick DJ booth, disco ball & dance floor, and awesome photo booth where folks took pictures with the Jonas background of their choice, and sang along with their favorite Nick Jonas song!

The DJ booth featured DJ’s such as Harley Viera Newton, Jesse Marco, DJ Chase B, and DJ Ross One!
Also pictured with Nick were friends, including Victoria’s Secret model Sarah Sampaio, who has also been featured in Nick’s music video for Chainsaw, and SAGE’s music video for Good Thing, and model Martha Hunt.
Other VIP’s showed up to support Nick and Altec Lansing, such as Alex Pettyfer, Jessica White and more.
The collaboration product was on display along with various other speakers and electronics from the brand for guests to view and try out!
