Looking for ways to navigate these stressful times? Grab a glass of chilled rosé and tune in to Sexy Is Timeless Talks, a new Facebook Live series that airs fresh episodes every Wednesday.
Author Luisa Diaz, a former Ms. Venezuela International, and the current Mrs. New York International conceived Sexy Is Timeless Talks as a natural extension to her book, Sexy Is Timeless. Her Luisa Diaz Foundation which promotes a celebration of kindness is another central theme to the weekly 20-minute shows.
“I started Sexy is Timeless Talks from the same inspiration that led me to write my book, where I redefine what is sexy in this new era of women’s empowerment,” Luisa explains. “In my book, I talk about the ten timeless sexy assets that lie within you, which have nothing to do with physicality. With this show, I want to motivate, inspire and entertain people.”
The series also stars TV media personality Delaina Dixon and lifestyle “genie” Samantha Bessudo Drucker, as well as a weekly guest co-host.
Delaina, a native New Yorker, has been sheltering in and shooting the show from Grovetown, Ga. “This is a great platform to stay connected with others and share amazing lifestyle tips, from carving out financial freedom to keeping your skin clear under your mask,” says Delaina, who is editor-in-chief of DivaGalsDaily.com, a multicultural lifestyle site, and a weekly co-host on iHeart Radio’s Naughty But Nice with Rob Shuter.
Along with her work as a lifestyle expert, Samantha is an image consultant, journalist, host and actress who is known for having the savoir-faire for just about anything. In addition to appearing on Sexy Is Timeless Talks, Samantha co-hosts Love & Design Project, a YouTube renovation series with her husband, architect Jeffrey Drucker. Samantha is also the creator of the “90 Days To Husband No. 2” dating series. “We all do interesting, meaningful and entertaining things and other people will definitely feel that watching this show,” Samantha declares. “It’s delightful to do a great platform with my gal pals, whom I adore.”
This week, Sexy Is Timeless Talks welcomes lifestyle host Tia Greene, founder of Liebe PR – a boutique marketing agency – as the quartet discuss glamorous international staycations.
Delaina, who loves a Pinot, says that the show is “a lot of laughs. We get a chance to dress up and talk about living your best life under sometimes less-than-ideal circumstances,” For Samantha, who enjoys sipping Chivas Regal 18 on the rocks and organic margaritas, “It’s wonderful to share our knowledge, humor and curiosity in an entertaining format that feels like cocktails with your girlfriends.”
Luisa, who’s fond of champagne, concurs. “The show focuses on wide-ranging topics such as coping in quarantine, relationships, health, self-care, productivity and self-discovery,” she says. “We end each show with inspirational thoughts on kindness as well as a shout-out of quarantine birthdays. It’s all about touching hearts and minds and making people smile.”
