TRESemme is a worldwide brand that is known for its instant results and editorial looking hair. This collection of TRESemme products are often found backstage at recent runway shows, because of their quick acting formula and fast drying time. The theme for hair was Modern Renaissance, explained by Global hairstylist Justine Marjan. “We want the hair to look like it was styled before a time where there was hot tools, so like a really soft beautiful wave and enhancing everyone’s hair texture. I’m using the TRESemme one step wave spray to prep damp hair and putting braids in soon after, and letting them hair dry or blow dry and finishing with the TRESemme extra hold hairspray to seal it all in.” Justine stated as she finished up one models look and moved to the next. “ Every girls hair is different depending on the texture, and TRESemme allows for inclusive results to everyone, even if the drying time varies” Justine explained as I asked her how long the hairstyles take for each model and if the products align with the fast acting time.

Backstage was a beautifully organized area in the church where each model was assigned a hairstylist who catered to the girls needs. Using products that damped the girls hair is a risk that stylists have to take in order to create these gorgeous waves, but the TRESemme extra hold hairspray is no joke! Within about 30 mins of arriving and leaving, one models hair went from wet to completely dry and crisp, almost like magic. It’s amazing having a trustworthy brand that is easy to use and has step by step products so models and be in and out before call time.

Mirror Palais casted many gorgeous models with various skin tones, hair textures and heights, creating a very inclusive runway. Having models with fine hair to corse and curly hair and achieving the same flawless hairstyles is quite impressive because like Justine stated, each model is different. TRESemme has definitely made sure that their products are for everyone and are continuing to relay that message through backstage during fashion week to everyday use, TRESemme’s got your back.

For those at home who want to achieve this runway look here is the overall breakdown

The Breakdown:

  • Step 1: Prep hair with TRESemmé One Step Wave Mist by gently spraying evenly throughout hair to create a foundation for soft waves with flexible hold.
  • Step 2: Split hair into four sections and create loose braids. Work fingers through the braids to loosen.
  • Step 3: Let hair air dry or run a blow dryer or a flatiron over the braids. Undo braids once dry and scrunch in TRESemmé Dry Texture Finishing Spray to create a natural full-body look with an airy finish.
  • Step 4: Finish the style with a mist of TRESemmé TWO Extra Hold Hair Spray to control flyaways and frizz.

This TRESemme collection can be found in various stores worldwide, so if I were you, I would grab my hands on these products ASAP and make them apart of your hair routine for flawless on the go hair.
