Last Night Florida based luxury eye wear retailer Designer Eyes celebrated the launch of their first New York location.
Designer Eyes was founded in 1974 by Jacky Amar who immigrated to America from Morocco. The business has remained in the family, run by father and son. The new New York flagship is located in the new World Trade Center Mall aka The Oculus. Along with cocktails and hors d’oeuvre, the grand opening hosted notable guests like Michael Strahan and Olivia Caridi. Designer Eyes will also be expanding Miami, Beverly Hills, and Fifth Avenue. Not only do the stores offer nearly every luxury brand, they offer rare, limited and exclusive pieces. The New York Flagship features Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicilian Carreto Hand Painted Frames, with only 100 in existence you can imagine how hard they are to find. Another exclusive at Designer Eyes is the DITA Decade Two, which has been created solely for Designer Eyes and even feature their logo. Even Cartier, who doesn’t sell through any second party retailer, is available at Designer Eyes. People come for the eyewear, but stay for the accessories and goodies like a “two frame textured leather case by Oliver Peoples,” Mont Blanc card holders and fragrance sets by Tom Ford. Along with fabulous products, Designer Eyes flagship stores offer personal eye-wear stylist to help you with your purchases as well as concierge services for eyewear emergencies that happen outside the store.
