Mayor Eric Adams, Giancarlo Stanton, Julianne Hough, Shea Marie, Lexi Wood, Ja Rule, Fabolous & More Attend Richie Akiva’s The Ned NoMad One-Year Anniversary

The Ned NoMad, helmed by Richie Akiva, recently celebrated their one-year anniversary on June 8th.

The Ned NoMad is a sophisticated hotel and members club located in the North Madison District of Manhattan, and it first opened its doors in June of 2022. The evening was kicked off with flowing Moet Chandon champagne, stations featuring caviar delights, oysters, lobster rolls, and an assortment of passed hors d’oeuvres showcasing The Ned’s chef favorites. The celebration took place in the hotel’s main-level club atrium, The Library, The Dining Room, main bar and ended in the Magic Room. The entire party was decorated with gold and metallic accents that covered each space, and upon arrival, guests were serenaded and welcomed by jazz performers. There were also costumed dancers wearing champagne dresses, gold glitter ensembles, and extravagant headpieces that rotated the room and performed on platforms inspired by the 1920s Era Ziegfeld Follies showgirls.

Attendees were able to enjoy a variety of drinks and surprise performances by Fabolous and Ja Rule. Earlier in the night, The Ned’s resident comedian, Mike Young, showcased a guest comedy set highlighted by Fallon show late-night regulars Ryan Reiss, Jourdain Fisher, and Sam Woolf. After the comedy sets, illusionist Elliot Zimet amazed the crowd with his white dove magic performance, where he made birds appear in his hands and disappear into handkerchiefs. There was a variety of well know figures in attendance for the celebration, which include Mayor Eric Adams, Fat Joe, Famke Janssen, Julianne Hough, Giancarlo Stanton (NY Yankees), Davis Burleson, Lexi Wood, Kaylee Russelman, Shea Marie, Fatima Cuellar, Madeline Danzberger, Khadija Cherkani, Christa B. Allen, Imaan Hammam, Rachel Winters, Jus Ske, Bloody Dior, Bloody Osirus, Badius, Fish Money, Michael Braun, Helly Nahmad, Shawn Pecas, Jason Binn, TJ Atoms, Jeremey Tahari, Sergio Farias, Honey Bxby, and Giveon, among many others.

The Ned NoMad has become a well-known location that regularly hosts popular performers and established industry notables. They offer their members and guests a space that is both welcoming and a sophisticated haven.
