Marvel Studios just blessed us with all types of greatness.
The studio just dropped its Black Panther trailer and it is jaw dropping, to say the least. From the star-studded cast to the phenomenal costumes and action packed scenes, the film looks like it will be a box office hit.
The motion picture studio, recruited a star studded majority black cast from, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, to Michael B. Jordan. Besides the A-list cast, the plot itself looks promising.
According the studio’s press release, Black Panther follows “T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk.”
Marvel Studios has never produced a majority black film so fans are over the top excited. The teaser was officially released a mere 18-hours ago and already it has gained over 6 million views and is trending as number one on YouTube. The only disappointing part is that we have to wait. The film doesn’t hit American theaters until February 16, 2018. But based off this trailer it will be worth the wait, so mark your calendars now.
