Post-NYFW show, Luar’s loyal and excited fans lined up down the block, in the rain (most even without umbrellas!), while waiting patiently to enter the afterparty, and celebrate the brand of the hour-Luar.
The dance floor was full of a stylish and robust crowd, ready to dance the night away, being that the afterparty ended at 3am on a Sunday Night (guilty of staying till closing myself, ha!). Beer brand Steluar was the sponsor at the bar the whole evening, serving lagers, 0.0 alcohol, and cidres. The multifaceted DJs brought everyone to their feet, as they switched between genres by playing Beyonce, Bad Bunny, ABBA and many more different flavors!
Special guest Symone from the notorious show, “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” spread her fabulous joy and passion during her energetic lip-synching performances on stage. Sponsor Cash App provided over $1000 in funds, and Symone had the pleasure of tossing the envelopes to the screaming crowd below, as they enthusiastically waved their hands. Symone then proceeded to call up Luar’s Fashion Designer, Raul Lopez to the stage, saying, “my darling, my love…this baby, this angel…I have to say thank you!”
Lopez in his speech later on nearly started to cry saying, “‘I really love all of you guys… my hands are like shaking, bro I’m done…I can’t believe I’m doing this, like I never talk in front of anyone, and I just want to thank everyone who really has actually been there for me. Even if you’re new , welcome to the family. I want to give a special thanks to my team, who actually f-ing tore. Without my team, I wouldn’t be here. They’re actually really iconic and they work really hard, and around the clock!”
