The Luxury Italian eyewear brand L.G.R and renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino have collaborated to create The Photographer’s Edition- Inspired by Mario Testino. The collaborators launched the limited edition sunglasses, which will be available from June 10 to September 8.
The idea of capturing clear, rich and timeless moments is what brought this collaboration to life. These sunglasses sport a lens made of the utmost superior quality the same mineral glass used in camera lenses. Designed with Testino’s lifestyle in mind these frames exude practical elegance.

The black and dark Havana acetate frames are 100% handmade in Italy using traditional methods of craftsmanship. The sunglasses feature polarized neophan lenses containing rare earth elements such as neodymium, which selectively filter color in order to maximize contrast and sharpen vision. The inner polarized film eliminates harmful UV rays, making the eyewear ideal for outdoor activity to accompany a traveler on his endless journey.
The sunglasses will sell for €380 or $430 and 25% of proceeds will be generously donated to MATE, a non-for-profit center based in Lima which Testino established to contribute to Peru through the cultivation and promotion of culture and heritage.
