Kygo fans get pumped!
The excitement continues leading up to the release of Kygo’s Cloud Nine as the DJ reveals the full track list to his debut album on April 20 via Shazam.
Set for release on May 13 Kygo has collaborated with some of the hottest names in music including John Legend, Foxes, Tom Odell and Angus and Jila Stone all contributing original songs for the album. “Happy Birthday” ft. John Legend is a tribute to the birth of his daughter Luna while Foxes sings her heart out on the Sia penned “Oasis.” Cloud Nine also features hit singles “Firestone” ft. Conrad Sewell, “Stole The Show” with Parson James and “Stay” with Maty Noyes. James Vincent McMorrow also lends his talented pipes to for the seventh track on the album “I’m In Love.”
Kygo has been on a non-stop successful streak from producing a full-length album to becoming the fastest artist to ever reach one billion streams on Spotify. He has also been pegged as “the next EDM superstar” by Billboard, is planning his own festival in his hometown of Bergen, is becoming the first ever electronic musician to preform at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert and was even on the front cover of Billboard Magazine’s February 2016 issue.
It doesn’t stop there! In addition to all of that he has also been touring exclusively over the past six months on his Cloud Nine world tour. He has played sold out shows in both the U.S. and Europe, from the Greek Theater in Los Angeles and Barclays Center in New York to Barclays Arena in Madrid and Le Zénith in Paris. He wraps up the tour this weekend with two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Brixton Academy.
