Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart star in the action comedy “Central Intelligence,” from New Line Cinema and Universal Pictures.
The story follows a one-time bullied geek, Bob (Johnson), who grows up to be a lethal CIA agent. He comes home for his high school reunion. Claiming to be on a top-secret case, Bob enlists the help of former “big man on campus,” Calvin (Hart), who is now an accountant. He misses his glory days, though.
Before the numbers-cruncher realizes what he’s getting into, it’s too late to get out as his increasingly unpredictable new friend drags him through a world of shoot-outs, double-crosses and espionage that could get them both killed in more ways than Calvin can count.
The film also stars Oscar nominee Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone), Aaron Paul (TV’s Breaking Bad), and Danielle Nicolet (TV’s The Game). It was directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber and co-written by Ike Barinholtz, David Stassen and Thurber. Acclaimed actor Ed Helms is an executive producer.
The film will hit theaters on June 17, 2016! It looks like it will be hilarious.
