A new Red Band trailer has been released for Keanu starring the comedic duo Key and Peele set for theaters April 29 .
Stars Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele appear in the trailer as the attempt to rescue an adorable, kitten Keanu. Written by Peele and Alex Rubens the duo play straight-laced cousins living in the city Clarence and Rell. After a break up Rell starts to head in a more positive direction when he finds Keanu on his doorstep.
Trouble comes in the form of the local gang breaking in and stealing Keanu. The trailers shows the cousin shaving to pretend to be streetwise killer in order to infiltrate the gang and rescue Keanu. You can watch the below or on the movie’s Youtube channel or their website.
Their quest to rescue the kitten later turns into a gang war to determine who will have custody of the highly desirable kitten. With intense action scenes, a cute kitten and the hilarity of Key and Peele seen in the trailer it looks like a hit so far.
The film also features Tiffany Haddish, Method Man, Jason Mitchell, Luis Guzman, Nia Long and Will Forte with director Peter Atencio. You can catch the film in theaters on April 29.
