The newest film Double Life follows the story of a grieving widow (Pascale Hutton) who learns that her husband’s untimely death was no accident, from his mistress.
Javicia Leslie spoke about her role in the upcoming “Whodunnit” film. “I think any role that I accept allows me to grow, ” Javicia Leslie shares as we discussed how her role in this film has helped her grow as an actress. “I get to take on different circumstances, and believe in them, play with them, trust them, and allow them to influence and see how it feels in the moment”. Shadowing the film’s director, Martin Wood, and learning the behind-the-scenes has also been beneficial to her as an actress, she recalls.

In true murder mystery fashion, two women work together to uncover the truth behind the murder of the man they both loved. “In this project, these two women decide to come together and get to fight for the bigger picture”. Double Life will make its debut in theaters and on Apple TV on May 5th. It will also be available on Demand on May 19th.
