Matt Damon makes a comeback in his most iconic role.
It’s been almost 10 years since Matt Damon’s last performance as Jason Bourne. And the wait for his comeback will be over soon. Jason Bourne premieres July 29, 2016. In the upcoming movie the director Paul Greengrass (The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum) once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.
The synopsis of the upcoming film places Jason Bourne in the face of his true self, trying to uncover hidden truths about his past.
In Jason Bourne, Damon will be joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series.
Production for Captivate Entertainment is led by Frank Marshall alongside Jeffrey Weiner. Matt Damon, Gregory Goodman and Ben Smith join the production team with Christopher Rouse and Henry Morrison as executive producers.
