ipsy Gen Beauty Arrives in LA

This weekend, glam-looking Los Angelenos raced to the ipsy Gen Beauty event held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in DTLA.

A celebration of unique beauty and self-expression, ipsy brings together thousands of beauty lovers, top creators, and beauty brands in one gorgeous space.

From beloved beauty brands like MAC Cosmetics and Pixi Beauty to newer brands to start crushing on, ipsy Gen Beauty is the go-to event for all beauty lovers who want to get the inside scoop on how to get gorgeous. Beauty bloggers and influencers were on hand to give out their best tips, while brand ambassadors happily showed customers their latest products. This weekend’s event was held in Los Angeles but will be coming soon to New York and San Francisco.

Ipsy, of course, is a monthly subscription service for makeup mavens, sending subscribers five cosmetic samples to enjoy each month. From skincare, makeup, perfume, and nail polish, the service offers products from every corner of the beauty world.

At the LA event, beauty lovers got to experience brand activations, live workshops and tutorials and the chance to meet and become insta-besties with their favorite creators. Class highlights included getting festival-ready hair for festival season (Coachella is right around the corner) and a 90s Grunge class.

Friday, the day before ipsy Gen Beauty officially began, influencers and content creators crowded the festival to network and learn how to grow their brands.
