Inside the Supreme QVC ‘Age of Possibility’ Summit

QVC ruled supreme with a bevy of female entrepreneurs on a regal TikTok Super Brand Day in Santa Monica this week.

Luminaries, legends, and icons from the beloved QVC gathered on May 14 at the Santa Monica Post Office for the “Age of Possibility” Summit. Hundreds of guests gathered at the landmark building for the event that was a TikTok Super Brand Day that created a thrilling shopping bonanza that showcased all the gems of QVC and their Q50 Ambassadors. The treasure chest of a day sparkled beyond just shop drops, though. It was an incredible day dedicated to enlightenment. It cherished the female entrepreneurs and made the crowd wild with the powerhouse notion that 50 is just the age when a woman gets better.

The takeaway was multi-leveled. Opening remarks from EMCEE Mary De Angelis, Mike Fitzharris, President, QVC US, and Annette Dunleavy, VP, Brand Marketing started off the tone with a fantastic pace. The marathon day of panels and community networking enthralled each passing minute and pumped up the room with ecstasy.

The grand showcase of notables such as Hoda Kotb, Kathie Lee Gifford, Kathy Hilton, Nicole Miller, Mally Roncal, Billie Jean King, Carla Rockmore, Busy Phillips, Joy Bauer, Tamsen Fadal, Dee Hilfiger, Jennie Garth, and more inspired every single heart and soul in the venue.

“We have to let everybody know that life can still go on and doesn’t end at 50. And we still have a lot of possibilities ahead of us,” reflected QVC ambassador Anna Marie “Torndo” Austin to Knockturnal on the carpet. ”

Unveiling so many emotions and so many messages of hope, the “Age of Possibility” Summit was one for the books. It meant a lot to the women in the room who demonstrated harmoniously that women over 50 are powerful forces in both business and creativity.

The momentum even spread beyond the walls of the Santa Monica Post Office as a special livestream offered an engaging 8-hour experience where viewers from home were able to discover new product releases and took advantage of event-only deals across curated QVC collections, including beauty, fashion, home, and kitchen—all exclusively available on QVC’s TikTok Shop.

From start to finish, it was an epic event to say the least. Even the launch of the special week was a glowing sensation. As part of the QVC-hosted experience, special guests visiting from outside the Los Angeles region were treated like royalty with a divine stay at Shutters on the Beach — a luxe, oceanfront hotel in Santa Monica that perfectly captured the relaxed-yet-refined spirit of the summit.

QVC wears the crown of being the world leader in live shopping. Through this first-of-its-kind cross-category TikTok Shop Super Brand Day, in collaboration with the social media platfor,m it proved it is going to hold this title for decades to come.
