Bring an unwanted gift to Park Ave Tavern on December 27th and get a free beer from Heineken.
“The gift of beer.” The phrase has a nice ring to it, no? Heineken is conscious of a what a ridiculous ride 2016 has been. Contentious, noisy, and unpredictable, iconic beer maker Heineken is working hard to help with the de-stressing this season by checking one other thing off the list: unwanted gifts. 50% of Americans, including 69% of Millennials, expecting they will return or exchange holiday gifts this year. But the last minute gift of beer can help cut down on post-holiday gift return. So if you are stuck with a lousy gift that just isn’t “you”, Heineken will be hosting a Holiday Trading Post of sorts in New York City, open to the public after the holidays on Tuesday, December 27th! All consumers age 21 and over are invited to come to Park Avenue Tavern at 99 Park Avenue South to trade in any unwanted holiday gift in exchange for a free beer.
It’s an effective way to get gently used or unused gifts into the hands of those who might actually want them. Indeed, gifts offered at the trading post will go to Goodwill, the organization famous for its commitment to sharing. Of course, you can always get a case of Heineken for your big happy holiday bash, as it’s sure to keep the crowd happy and not talking about you-know-who.
But there’s more: your gift will enter you for the chance to win a grand prize trip to Amsterdam and a VIP ticket to the Heineken Experience to learn more about the company’s family-owned roots.
Several prizes will be raffled off during the day, so be sure to stick around to enjoy!
