Earlier this week we attended an exclusive early screening of “Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween.”
Written and directed by Rob Lieber and Ari Sandel, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween stars Jack Black, picking up where he left off last time, and Wendi McLendon-Covey, Madison Isewman, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Caleel Harris, Chris Parnell, and the hilarious Ken Jeong. This sequel focuses on our main characters Sonny and Sam on Halloween night and the ghastly hell they unleash upon their town. Unbeknownst to them, the manuscript they find on Halloween night unleashes a haunted ventriloquist dummy who is bent on bringing Halloween to life and completing his broken family.
Slappy The Dummy is brought to life when R.L. Stein’s unfinished manuscript is opened. After many failed attempts of disposing of Slappy, he escapes to a local Halloween store where he brings the costumes and subsequently Halloween to life. The kids along with the help of their sister attempt to restore peace in the neighborhood as they discover that the unfinished manuscript is the key to saving the night. R.L. Stein, himself makes an appearance, but he leaves us with more questions than answers. Check out the film out now to find out what happens.
