On February 10, Fetty Wap and Post Malone returned to Irving Plaza for the second night in a row for their Monster Energy Outbreak “Welcome to the Zoo” tour.

The sold-out, all-ages crowd, unmistakably eager for Fetty Wap, filled the first floor of the intimate venue with “Where Are Ü Now,” “Antidote,” “Cut It,” and other hip-hop songs of the moment blasting from the speakers. A procession of artists, including Inas X and Liam Lis, took the stage at the very beginning of the night, playing two or three songs each.

Post Malone opened the main portion of the night with his debut single and hit, “White Iverson,” with the crowd loudly singing along. He performed a handful of his other songs, including “Die Too Young” and “TEAR$.”

Not too long into Post Malone’s set, he introduced 50 Cent, who was also a surprise guest for the tour’s show at Irving Plaza the night before. The crowd’s energy level clearly reached its apex of the night at that point with 50 Cent performing “I’m the Man,” from a 2015 mixtape, and the classic “Window Shopper.” After 50 Cent exited the stage, Post Malone closed his set with “White Iverson” one final time.

A video showing Fetty Wap’s roots and rise to fame began playing on the stage, with frequent mentions of his hometown, Paterson, N.J. (“This is my city, so everybody knows who I am,” he recently told Interview Magazine.) Fetty opened his set with “679,” and, of course, moved on to feature his numerous hits, including “Again,” “RGF Island,” and “Trap Queen,” keeping the crowd hyped the entire night.

The “Welcome to the Zoo” tour continues until March with stops around the country.
