Speak about the brand stepping into underwear design?
We’re lucky to have so many loyal customers and for years they have been asking us to design underwear, so we finally listened! The underwear collection includes a brief and trunk style that is composed of a pima cotton and spandex blend with a satin waist band that includes our logo. As of now we are offering both silhouettes in five traditional color ways.
What makes this product unique?
Parke & Ronen customers know that fit and comfort are two important qualities for us that can be found within all of our products from ready to wear to swimwear. We wanted to create underwear that would offer the best combination of both while still making you look good… because when you look good you feel good.
Talk about the color scheme.
For both the trunks and briefs, we’re offering five color schemes to start off with: Navy, Grey, White, Red and Black so you can easily wear them under your favorite jeans, trousers of around the house if you want!
What are a few holiday must haves?
It depends on where you’re spending your holiday this year! If you’re headed somewhere tropical, our 2016 Resort Collection swim trunks have a number of prints that will help you get ready for some time on the beach. If you’re heading somewhere cold, you will feel assured that the Parke & Ronen Contrast Block Knilly Knit Sweater will keep you warm along with a pair of gloves and scarf!
What are your goals for the brand in the future?
With the holidays right around the corner that’s where our heads have been at lately- pushing sales and making sure that all inventory and stock is ready to go. We’re also looking ahead to Spring and Summer 2016 and are excited to introduce that line to our buyers and customers. For SS16 we played around with even more prints and colors options so we are eager to see how our customers react.
