I recently visited Aqua in the Flatiron District with a friend, and we ended up catching up for hours over an incredible meal. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable—ideal for both private tables and larger gatherings. The mixologist was outstanding, crafting drinks that exceeded my expectations. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d highly recommend it for a stylish lunch or brunch outing.

Aqua: A New Standard for Daytime Dining

Located at 902 Broadway, Aqua is the latest concept from the internationally renowned Aqua Restaurant Group. As the first U.S. outpost, it blends Japanese and Italian cuisine under one roof, offering guests the choice of contemporary dishes from Aqua Kyoto (Japanese) and Aqua Roma (Italian) on a single menu. The stunning 17,000-square-foot space accommodates private dining rooms, a DJ-equipped lounge, and Aqua Spirit—a 44-seat bar serving expertly crafted cocktails.

Lunch & Brunch Highlights

• Lunch (Mon-Fri, 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.): Features $22+ Bento-style sets, $35 two-course Italian meals, and sushi, sashimi, and pasta options.

• Brunch (Sat-Sun, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.): Perfect for groups or intimate catch-ups, with highlights like Wagyu Katsu & Tamago Sando, Okonomiyaki Pancakes, and Pandoro French Toast, plus a 90-minute free-flow drink package ($75).

Aqua Spirit Bar & Happy Hour

The bar features signature cocktails blending Italian and Japanese influences, such as the Founder’s Negroni and Suppai raspberry sour, plus a rare sake selection. Happy Hour (12-6 p.m. daily) includes $8 beers, $10 wines, $12 cocktails, and specials like the Aqua Burger & Beer ($25).
