We caught up with up and coming singer Samuel Mancini.
Check out our exclusive interview below:
The Knockturnal: Tell us about your new song!
Samuel Mancini: It’s called “Who’s Gonna Be There (Tell Me).” I originally recorded it as an R&B record, but I ended up updating it turning it into a dance record. I love the way it ended up. I’m really excited about it.
The Knockturnal: What inspired it?
Samuel Mancini: The inspiration came from living on my own for the first time. I moved out to LA. I quickly learned that people who I thought would be there for me when I needed them weren’t. But it ended up being for my own good!
The Knockturnal: What producers did you work with?
Samuel Mancini: I got to work with Alvy. He’ a producer from Paris and I love his sound. He really turned this record into something special. Looking forward to working with him on the album.
The Knockturnal: What are your holiday plans?
Samuel Mancini: Being back home in Pennsylvania with my family. Super traditional when it comes to the holidays.
The Knockturnal: What’s next for you?
Samuel Mancini: Currently in the studio with a lot of great new producers working on new music. ALVY, Chris Hatam, Levi Penner and Gabe Penner of Her Brothers. Going to perform a lot of shows at the start of the new year as well.
