Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family as they work around the prisons in Kingstown, Michigan. In a city where prison is the biggest industry, the McLusky brothers leverage their power to help desperate people both inside and around the prison. Danger, risk and money drives these brothers to extreme actions as they grow their power.
The series features an amazing line up of stars including: Jeremy Renner, Kyle Chandler, Dianne Wiest, Taylor Handley, Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa and Emma Laird. The Knockturnal recently spoke with Taylor Handley, Hugh Dillon, Tobi Bamtefa, Aidan Gillen and Emma Laird. These actors shared their stories and how they found their way to acting on Mayor of Kingstown.
Taylor Handley played the third McLusky brother and he told us about the joys of working with superstars Jeremy Renner and Kyle Chandler. Hugh Dillon told us about how the story for Mayor of Kingston came into existence. Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillion wrote the script over ten years ago. After over a decade of working on other projects, they finally were able to get this show created. Hugh said, “it’s been a dream for me.” The other actors shared some fun stories from the sets of the show.
