Johnny English Strikes Again, presented by Universal Pictures, is the third installment of the franchise.

We caught up with the stars at the New York Special Screening that took place at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater ahead of the official movie release for October 26th.

The franchise of Johnny English has gotten a few giggles out of viewers over the years and now fans can look forward to another adventure-filled comedy film featuring none other than Rowan Atkinson as the lead. When we caught up with Rowan Atkinson himself, he spoke about stepping into the role of Johnny English yet again after more than ten years of the first Johnny English installment. Although the Johnny English series is unlike the Fast and Furious franchise, the director and cast of the film hope audiences will gravitate towards Johnny English yet again with their families.

Rowan Atkinson places himself in James Bond- style adventures while at the same time infuses the movie with the comedy of Atkinson’s Mr.Bean character from the past. Aside from comedy, older audiences can expect to relate to the latest Johnny English movie in other ways. Rowan Atkinson’s character in Johnny English Strikes Again returns from retirement and lives a more analogue life that is then thrown into a digital world of modern technology. Not only does Johnny English have to overcome his newest mission in Britain but he must overcome the challenges of the digital age which he isn’t familiar with.

Whether you’re drawn to the Johnny English series because of the Bond-like scenes or comedic acts played by Rowan Atkinson, it’s safe to say that Johnny English Strikes Again is a kid-friendly affair no matter what. Make sure to catch Johnny English Strikes Again in select movie theaters starting October 26th!
