Get ready for a little GNO, as Melanie (Chrissie Fit), Nora (Awkwafina), and Jennifar (Catherine Cohen) paint the town red for a girl’s night out in New York City!
The best friend trio dresses up as characters from “Charlie’s Angels,” flaunting their best Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu, and Cameron Diaz’s looks. However, the girls hit a few bumps during their journey and try to make the best out of their ladies night.
The Knockturnal exclusively chatted with Chrissie Fit to see what we can expect from her character in Comedy Central’s “Awkwafina is Nora from Queens” season 2.
“My character Melanie is just so unpredictable, and such a loyal, weird friend to Nora,” Fit mentioned. “We’re going to time travel a little bit…We’re going to go back and kind of relive the past…that’s going to be a good time.”
Meanwhile, you may recognize Fit’s character, Melanie, from season 1, who sold sand art on the Atlantic City beach. Now, the former high school classmates are off to explore new adventures in the Big Apple.
In “Nora from Queens” season 2, creator and writer, Awkwafina, continues to navigate her life and young adulthood in outer borough-NYC as she plays Nora Lin, a role inspired by her real-life growing up in Queens, New York.
The second season includes the return of cast members “Saturday Night Live’s” Bowen Yang, BD Wong, Lori Tan Chinn, and more.
“Awkwafina is Nora From Queens” is currently airing season 2 on Comedy Central.
